A Measured Approach
My interest in measurement and research began with a visit to Clyde Still's calibration laboratory in Colorado Springs, Colorado in the early '80's. Looking at the equipment he had opened an entire world to me—one I could control and quantify if I only had the right tools
Since then, I've done my very best to match my tools and test equipment to my research. Right now I have among other things, a pan adaptor, an HP vector network analyzer (used for quantifying impedance characteristics in antennas) and several other pieces of equipment in this general vein.
My goal, when selling equipment, is to use measurement and testing to make it like new.
My test and measurement activities have two goals: one, to make sure anything I sell is as close to new as possible and, two, to facilitate my antenna design efforts.
